The camera will record short videos when the ‘Motion Detection’ feature is enabled. It will begin capturing when motions are detected and save them automatically to the selected storage option.
Use the center icon located at the bottom of your App screen to access all stored feeds on the cloud. Once you click on this icon, you may select and delete the videos stored there.
Kindly note that the current free plan only allows you to access the videos and events saved on the cloud within the last 24 hours through the Kodak App.
To view the events beyond 24 hours, you need to subscribe to our cloud storage subscription plan via app.kodaksmarthome.com. This will enable you to access all events through the Kodak App.
You can also opt to save the videos to your SD card instead of the cloud. You, however, have to insert an SD card into your camera. Note that you will need to activate the Motion Detection feature to access the Video Storage Location menu.
Then, you will be able to select your Video Storage Location and send clips to the card by accessing the Device Settings menu on your Kodak Smart Home App.
The SD card video storage can save the following :
1 GB storage can store around 350 clips
32 GB storage (29 GB which computer can use) can store 350 * 29 = 10150 clips.
When the SD card is full, it will not overwrite the content.
