To activate "Background Audio Monitoring", the phone and camera must be connected to the same Wi-Fi router.
Kindly note: Background monitoring should be possible only over the same WiFi network and unfortunately not possible over mobile internet (3G/4G) as it would be remote streaming.
Once the above feature is turned ON, it will let you hear the baby from the app in local mode even when the app is minimized or running in the background.
To activate Background Audio Monitoring (BAM), please follow the link below with appropriate instructions:

Further, please check if you have set the value for how long you would like to use the Background Audio Monitoring.
Step 1: Go to the “Settings” menu
Step 2: Navigate to Background Audio Monitoring”
Step 3: Switch the toggle button to ON
Step 4: Set how long you would like to keep the Background audio active (For example: 8 hours). Click on the Up/Down arrow to set the value.
Afterward, view camera streaming in local mode and wait for the confirmation message, “Camera is detected in the local network. Background audio monitoring is available.”
