Does the Air Purifier emit Ozone?

The Air Purifier AP550 was tested by Alford industries and is compliant with the
requirements of standards:

  • Electrostatic Air Cleaners, UL 867, Section 40, Fifth Edition, August 4, 2011 revision: AUGUST 7,
    2018.
  • Electrostatic Air Cleaners, [CSA C22.2#187:2015 Ed.4], Section 7.4

The results have shown that the AP550 generates very little amounts of Ozone, the concentration is as low as 0.018ppm, which is far below the allowed amount standard of 0.050 ppm.
