To ensure that the device operates at optimal levels, we recommend that you follow these guidelines when deciding where to place your R100 Range Extender:

  • The extender should be placed at least 16 ft (5m) away from the router to reduce cross-radio interference.
  • Place the extender closer to the camera instead of the Parent Unit.
